Sorry to hear about your wind deflectors Anneka, it seems the dealer hasn’t fitted them properly, I used a bit of silicone spray in the top seal and using a hand either side of the glass helped it up to fully go up the 1st time, once it is fully raised (kinda clunks past a bit of resistance) I left it there over night and it’s been perfect ever since, it sounds like your window hasn’t yet made it fully up and that’s why it keeps dropping back down when trying to shut as the safety back off feature keeps cutting in, follow these steps and it will be perfect or get someone to do it for you while you are below par.
