Great thread! ??
apart from the normal boring medical stuff , I like to get out n about with the dog
I don’t go out and socialise anymore , haven’t for a few years tbh , so having the car is great for allowing us to escape for a bit
we go out during the week when it’s quieter and have a few favourite destinations we go to, usually involving a quiet beach where we can take a little stroll then back back to the car to relax, recover ( he’ll got for a kip ) and I’ll just take the world in
ive not got a VW camper van but this is as close as I’ll get lol
rather than having to sit in the front upright and in pain , my back seats are permanently forward and I’ve got a king size duvet , blankets and all the padding we need to make the back comfortable for just chilling out in, I’m 5’10 and there’s bags of room
i love driving but unfortunately the dog doesn’t lol, so there are many further afield places I would love to drive to with him , but a couple of hours is his max in the car , he would just get bored and too restless so I don’t put him through it , thankfully in Scotland there are lots of places to visit that don’t involve driving 6 hours to get to
but I’d also absolutely love to travel through Europe , see the Alps and scenery etc, driving for days stopping where I want and where I need to wouldn’t bother me one bit
maybe one day I will manage it though ??
here’s a couple of pics of us making the most of it on that rare occasion or 2 that there’s a big Orange ball in the sky ????????
