Commute, shopping, walking the dogs (go to forest 5 miles away, always quiet and the dogs/wife prefer it to the local park), visits to relatives most weekends, days out, taking wife to events in Edinburgh/Glasgow. Holiday trips to the Southern counties every year. Planning a trip to the continent too, but will fly/rent a car as it saves time (4 days driving to get to/from middle France eats into the 10-12 days we can take).
Basically everything. Even then, we are not doing the miles we used to, average has dropped from over 30k per annum to 25k. Although I am being nagged by my wife to get out more, so she’s missing the day trips I think.
