That’s brutal, I can understand why want rid of it. Most of my journeys are less than 3 miles and mostly local streets so I suppose getting 40mpg out of a 2 tonne car is pretty respectable.
Its good you get the best mileage when visiting your mum, there’s something just right with that, its as if the Volvo gods are keeping you on the right track.
