Thanks, Colin. Mrs Tharg (dog expert) thought pitbull also, perhaps with a touch of mastiff. Nice looking chap, anyway. Pleased to hear that someone is running a rescue for them. Cliche, I know, but it’s the owners who are the villains, not the dogs.
We have a lovely Staffie bull terrier bitch. She was scheduled to be destroyed not because she’d done anything wrong, just because she’s a bull breed. Luckily we got to her in time and she is really the softest, soppiest, most unaggressive pooch ever.
