There’s a few companies near me who use generic maps then the one I’ve used in past is a lot more advanced and have their own big in-house dyno system and install a custom map for your specific car and like Phil says they save your standard map and every time you need to go into to the dealer s they install your standard one ( free of charge ) as many times as you need it
like I said I’ve used them in the past and never had any issues
just for the record I haven’t done it to my Mota car lol
