We brought a new a Toyota Aygo Platinum in 2008 for £6,500, which is the same car built in the same factory, we kept it for 11 years excellent little car, after 11 years trouble free motoring despite being like new, the top of the range with half leather and alloys etc and less than 25,000 miles it was only worth less than a £1,000 so we gave it to the daughter. It is still trouble free and only group one insurance (approximately £80 full comprehensive with legal cover and protected no claims) and £20 road tax.
To be honest you would be better off buying one second hand from a reputable dealer, even new the Toyota version comes with 5 years warranty, fixed price servicing and 3 years breakdown recovery.
I have just had a look on line a brand new Toyota Aygo top of the range £166 per month, you can add 3 years servicing for a few hundred pounds, a lot cheaper than £60 per week (£240+ per month)
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
