I don’t think i’m trying to jystify it Brydo. The point I was making is that if Mota/Volvo had simply increased all the AP’s by £575 and kept metallic paint in the standard mix then the Volvo AP’s would simply have gone up along with much of the rest.
One crazy example I highlighted on a different thread is the Nissan XTrail 1.3 2wd 5 seat Tekna Auto going from £1699 to £2899 overnight. Thats a £1200 increase.
If we compare the XC40 AP’s, inclusive of the £575 for metallic paint, to other manufacturer’s Q1 offerings this quarter, what i’m saying is, is the total figure really a bad deal for whats on offer?
Further, for those that like the car and like solid black then there’s an opportunity not to pay the additional £575.
Surely choice is a good thing?
