    I used to have a car on a pcp but found it very expensive and I certainly wouldn’t go down that route again.

    With leasing you can put down a very inexpensive amount which equates to 3 months rental, which is far less than a lot of the Motability cars. You can also have a fully maintained lease. Insurance depending on where you live is also not an expensive item plus if you wish you can pay monthly.

    Like I said though, once I retire I will have the choice of either purchasing a vehicle or going back on the scheme as leasing won’t be an option.

    I therefore take an active interest as to what is happening on the scheme and yes I am disappointed at what I see as opposed to a few years ago.
