If the AP’s continue to climb over the next 3 years then this next car I have ordered will be the last I get on Motability as it will be just too expensive to do in future and I will look towards 3ish year old used cars to buy outright or nearly new on a private lease with a mileage add-on and a warranty.
Agreed, sadly.
I know it’s easy to say there’s cars for no AP but they’re not suitable or what I want. To have to look at iro a £7k investment over the three years with nothing at the end hurts too much.
A £7k car after three years will still have some equity in it. I’m only on my first car at the moment and am hoping to save to get another (you only live once) but it’s seeming that the rising AP’s will make the massively profitable scheme price itself out of the market.
Added to this, PCP deals are getting cheaper & cheaper and my insurance costs are as low as they can be so I’m not too worried about that.
? I will be remembered for nothing but had great fun doing it ?
