I think the advances in battery and charging tech are really about to rocket, not least because the oil and energy big players are now getting in the game instead of just the small pioneers. They want to keep their pie!
I’m really hopeful that when my next change is due in ’22 that I’ll be able to go electric. The Kia Nero (or is it Hyundai Kona? Can’t remember!) already has real world capability of 200+ range, considering I’d do a journey that big or bigger two maybe three times a year?
