The challenge for Boris is to deliver for all parts of the UK, if he can do this, a repeat of last weeks result in 5 years time is almost certain. Will we see a split in Labour? Unlikely, and will only succeed if around half of it’s MP’s jump ship. If Labour appoint Long Bailey/Rayner I don’t see this having much appeal, too close to Corbyn, who as many have said was only ever interested in his agenda and the delusion, after the loss (but their so called win) in 2017 he was close to power.
