Hi Wonky
Apart from the Tiguan R-Line amazing looks and generous room inside of it, I found the driver’s seat and driving position spot-on for me. In most of the other cars, I could not find an ideal driving position, either not enough adjustment or not enough legroom. I am under 6ft but quite a big guy and I have to get a car around the seat if that makes sense. I have a painful back condition and the VAG seats seem to suit me better than other cars that I have had in the past.
I took a test drive in a Match Allspace but found it a little bit too big for me and it would be harder to park outside my house. I then test drove a brand new RLine base model with no extras and loved it but I thought the ride was a little bumpy over rough surfaces so that’s why I added the DCC, expensive at £850 but from what I have been told on the Tiguan MK2 Forum it’s worth the expense, so I added them.
The main features are the hands-free tailgate and entry with push-button start, the active display, area view camera’s with park assist and the adaptive cruise control, not forgetting that amazing sunroof and black headlining!! 🙂
