I had read on this forum that some members were written to by Motability at the start of the year offering a lease extension even though their cars had done more than the 20,000 miles. I’d be interested to see if there were any special circumstances that Motability are not affording me.
If your eligible for a grant towards the AP and explain you are happy with your current car, the grants team are able to extend your current lease.
unfortunately we are not eligible for a grant towards the AP, so can’t go down this route for an extension,
We will have to wait until near the end of lease and see what they say. Don’t really want to go down the route of quoting the contract and getting legal. Would prefer that they take my needs and reasons into consideration on an individual bases and grant an extension.
