Rambling on about UK car manufacturing, well it isnt, be ause most of the car manufacturing is not British but owned by bmw, ford, tata or whoever.
Every car manufacturer across uk, europe and japan are playing catchup with China. It is reckoned China has a 10 year advantage over the rest of the World with EV, battery manufacturing.
That is why the car manufacturers are crying. They cannot compete with Chinese manufacturing. It does not matter the Chinese govt pushed manufacturing towards ev vehicles, us Brits did the same with British Leyland and messed that up as well.
In case you did not realise we are on a depression level global economic downturn. Every country is going to lose jobs, especially with uk,s foreign company owned car manufacturing.
Other than that, buckle up, its going to be a rough ride.
