Agree 100% with @kezo last post. We also didn’t want a BEV and a PHEV was a compromise, allowing EV running on local journeys but no need to stop to charge on longer journeys (which would drive me nuts). Without the ability to charge at home we wouldn’t have considered one. It would have been a self charging hybrid or petrol. The anomaly is that the PHEV is £1k cheaper through Motability so if you are a low mileage user the lower AP may offset the higher running costs. Big decision. Good luck!
