Sorry for the confusion. I was originally thinking it was paid on a pro rata basis even up to 5 years, going by the table shown in that linked page (I’ll try and attach a screenshot, but I’m not great at this stuff!). Because the table is/was applicable to pre-Oct 2022 started leases, I (wrongly) assumed that my mid 2018 started lease would end with a gross £750 / Nett £400 (after receiving the early GCB) being paid back to me. They have obviously explained properly to you that there is now a different system in place whereby you have a standard rate of £250 the same as the customers ending 3 year leases, and an additional £100 for extending your lease past the 3 year mark (no pro rata).
Looking at the table – 25 – 36 Months (Following An Early Termination) £400 ,At 36 months, would trigger a 3yr lease with the Good condition bonus would be £600.
Motaclarity are a third party company and have nothing to do with Motability. Whils’t I do use them for their car search tool, which I feel is better than Motability’s search, they are prone to making numerous errors. I would therefore believe what Motability have told you over a company thats not onnected in anyway 🙂
If you feel you need a breakdown of the GCB you have been paid in more detail, Contact Motability on chat as it quicker and easier and ask why you only received an extra £100 GCB for a 4,5 year lease. It will put your mind at rest, which is the main thing 🙂
