Also said even though there was room in the box nobody was allowed to fit anything as the back board inside it belongs to the DNO.
The DNO will allow an 100A isolator to be fittet, if there isn’t already on in place (if you have a smart meter one would have been fitted) . The DNO will also allow Henley blocks to be fitted enabling meter tails to be split, to allow installation of the charger and the connection of a CT clamp fitted to the live tail, to monitor total house load.
Clearly the guy has led a sheltered life 🙂
As long as you get permission say nothing and just let the fitters get on with it. If Ohme cause you any bother with Kerbo, show them evidence of chargers that have already been fitted and the council/Kerbo webpages. Any issues just tell them your having a drive put in 🙂
