That’s fascinating isn’t it, especially as Hyundai do quite a range of EVs. They are popular with company car drivers due to the low benefit in kind tax, but private buyers (who, after all, are the majority of car buyers) just aren’t embracing the change, with only around 7 in every 100 EVs going to private buyers. Just one of the many reasons that the 2030/35 dates had to move.
I’m not sure that Im ready to move to an EV yet but, if I do, I would certainly favour doing as you have done and get one through Motability.
