If I was to purchase the range extender version of this car ( advised will be getting added to motability) will I still need to plug it in to charge or will the petrol and drive keep battery charged ? been trying to read about it but all confusing
No, although it will be driven as a normal hybrid, srather imilar to that of the Nissan E-Power. The benifit of plugging it in, is you get around 50 miles of battery range. PersonalLy I would prefer it over the pure electric version, even if I only topped it up at supermarkets or got to plug it in on longer journeys.
