      Any advise would be appreciated..

I’m my mum’s full time carer and receive carers allowance. Does anyone know what the rules are for using her mobility car? Also her licence will run out in 6 months time and she won’t be renewing it.

      Many thanks

Your mother needs to ask Motability to add you as a named driver. Once accepted,  you can use the car. The only restriction is that your use of the car must be for her benefit.

She might also ask them to make you a Nominated Person, so you can deal with Motability on her behalf.

          Hi @Jeffers44

Note that Motability/RSA may insist that a tracker is fitted to the car if you do not reside at the same address as your mother.

For named drivers under 25 there are restrictions in place relating to the insurance group and power output of the car.
