I am sure tgat the dealership can switch off travel assist, as my OBD11 has that option in the Tiguan section of apps.
In the R-Line there’s a real button on the end of the indicator stalk that you can turn off individual assistance, this displays in the driver’s digital cockpit not in the infotainment screen. Mine being new and all working as it should I’m not going to touch that control but would be interesting to know if it also kills the bings.
The only bing bongs I get are from the over speed limit ones that are driver controllable.
