    Thanks for the replies!

The 0-60 time won’t be anything like our 2.0L diesel X1 which I think is around 7.5 seconds. I’m going to miss that! But sub 10 seconds from a 1.5 petrol SUV should be ok.

It’s a shame the Tekna trim isn’t available for the X Trail as that’s a closer spec to the SEL. But if it does come on to the scheme what is the AP likely to be. The Kodiaq SEL has electric seats and tailgate plus a much larger boot, which is a big plus for us. The X Trail boot isn’t much bigger than our X1 but it’ll be ok the majority of the time.

I’ve had some people tell me the Nissan feels and looks cheap but that’s not this latest model so it may have improved. I know some Jap cars can feel like that compared to other makes. I own a Mazda and Honda, and previously had a Toyota.

I think on paper I’m swaying towards the Skoda but we’ll see how the test drive goes. I also didn’t consider the VW Tiguan but I think the Elegance spec is lower than the Kodiaq SEL. It could be one to look at though.
