I’ve gone into this a bit blind and relied on the dealer to guide me as it was my first Motability car. I am pushing this issue with Hyundai so, fingers crossed.
You must be devastated Debs, the fact that whatever the dealer does wrong, but neither the dealer nor Motability take responsibility, or even seem bothered is more than annoying. At least I ended up with a car, it wasn’t what I ordered but it was take it or leave it, your choice, nothing we can do. I really hope you get somewhere with your complaint to Hyundai, did you receive any paperwork or email confirmation when you ordered from the dealer? I had to sign for the car and Motability was contacted straight away to confirm I could order the car. Next time/big if I get a car through Motability, I will be demanding the order number as a minimum so that I can check what has been ordered and will be following progress closely, as this was my first Motability car, I just let the process happen and accepted that the car arrives when the car arrives, I can’t believe that is so matter of fact when something goes wrong.
