I have just changed the battery in one of the key fobs – we have our key in a faraday wallet which when not being used is kept in a faraday box.
This maybe why the battery wasn’t strong enough to open car from pocket.
The change of the battery wasn’t as straight forward as many – so a quick picture guide as to the battery and how

this is the battery type CR2032
– once the key has been removed you will need a slotted screw driver to put in and twist anti clockwise just above the key slot
I had to twist twice to open completely and change battery – I know many of you will already know this – but thought it was worth a mention for those who may not ?
