Evening all – glad to know more of you are close to getting your cars
. Charged car today – it had dropped to just under 200 miles left – I unplugged it about 30 mins ago – interestingly in the last 10 mins before I unplugged it it dropped from 349 to 337 – I assume as the temperature dropped – will be interested to see what it reads tomorrow morning – it is meant to drop to around 4 – 5c tonight. My first real observation of how temperature affects the battery. So wouldn’t be surprised if it dipped under 300 by 7am tomorrow morning.
Well on Sunday I am off to London, returning Monday or Tuesday. The most recent 25 miles covered has been achieved at 3.7 miles per kWh and with the return trip around 250/260 miles its highly likely a top will be needed. Heating and demisting uses a fair bit of battery. I will post next week with the results and am hoping preconditioning and pre heating the cabin will help a little, and with speed restrictions on the M3 and M25, who knows.
