Have MB ever queried the fact you’ve removed the hoist?
I’m due to take delivery of my (privately bought) Tiguan Allspace in a couple of weeks’ time. I’ve had to buy a new hoist privately, and phoned MB to see if I could have the old one for spares. Was told “no” in no uncertain terms!
My guess is they sell them to the installers; when enquiring prices for new hoists, I have been offered, more than once, second-hand (no guarantee) hoists.
Did you ask MB first if you can take the hoist?
