    On my last order in the 2 months between placing the order and the car being built the manufacturer had removed more than a dozen things without informing me.

    I only found this out on the day of collection, my rep was up front as soon as I arrived at the dealers.

    He listed all the things missing (now grouped into 3 “packs” costing £1,200) and said he would have no problem if I refused the car as he could sell it easily.

    In the end we came to mutual deal that left both of us happy.

    Yes I got less on the car but paid less AP. Could have walked away and got my deposit back for the extra’s there and then but a bit of flexibility and all okay.
