My first thought was that it is ‘that gastro bug that’s going around’ but the symptoms don’t match. No dire rear, no fever, no cramps – just really sore behind the lower ribs, really bad heartburn/bile taste, and the up-chucking.
Certainly getting through chickens at the moment – chicken broth, chicken soup, chicken Nasai Goreng (turned out to be a bad idea!), Creamy chicken and mushroom with rice (v. small portion) . . .
Tomorrow is normally Commiseration chicken sarnies day, but I suspect my half of the chicken will just be . . . plain chicken sarnies.
If it’s not getting better from Tuesday (7 days from first bout) I’ll contact the GP. DH works from home and he’s keeping an eye on things. 🙂
