totally get where your coming from intranicity, at the moment i am trying to stay upright and out of a wheelchair as with the codeine i can manage about 20 paces and then have to sit for 10 minutes etc etc.
so the longer i can extend that at the moment the better as i am not ready yet for the alternative.
its probably inevitable as they cant fix it with an op so i suppose i ought to just accept it and get a wheelchair/scooter.
had a falling out with the gp again when he turned round and said i have to push myself and just suck it up and do more physio. lol i had to point out that if he read my notes from the army he wouldnt be saying that and had to explain what a combat fitness test involved and what it took to attempt para training or the all arms commando course or even just basic training when all runs were done in boots not comfy slippers lol.
still took the first oromorph at 6am and so far so good not pain free by any means but definately a difference, was in less pain doing the usual routine this morning breakfast, washing up etc not as sore in the lower back and was able to stand for longer so we shall see.
