@tim !! Haha!!

the Kona is a beautiful looking car , in the Mitsubishi garage Mr KarenJ was definitely lusting after the ASX or the Eclipse cross, I reminded him (gently) that comfort was number one and for me they didn’t cut it unfortunately. I am almost certain next time I change it’ll be full EV though as I am sure the charging will have much improved on speed. Part of me wondered if the break to charge on my longer journeys might do me some good but it’s too big a call to get wrong. I don’t think the outlander will win a beauty parade if put up against the Honda CRV or Toyota Rav 4 or that beautiful looking Hyundai Kona someone posted of theirs. But I’m happy I’ve definitely made the right decision for me for right now.
When I was working before ‘this’ I had a great car list as my firm was German and definitely supported heavily subsidised German cars . I used to love new car time and would bore everyone stupid with analysing every choice to the nth degree for weeks…. spreadsheets, the lot. I’ve had an A3 SE, BMW 3 series estate, Mercedes c220 and a Toyota Prius on loan when the 3 series became just too painful to drive . I loved that prius but it was butt ugly ( 5 years old and a brown blue sludge colour) but the electronic and data were superb and an eye opener after the basic interiors of German cars back then. It’s one of the things I really missed after I had to take medical retirement, that and the people.
I like cars, can you tell?
So to get something back like this and it being such an important thing to give me freedom is massive.
Anyway fingers crossed nothing goes wrong or that my car doesn’t get suddenly spirited away to a private customer. We will see.
