    Rear legroom isn’t great, I think he’d need to sit behind the passenger seat, but you just need to try, the rear floor though is almost totally flat, so it’s better for the middle passenger if you are 5 up.

    In the end, as with every car, there are compromises, and with so few large EV’s available at present, if you go that route, it’s finding the best match between range, economy and size.  I think the ID3 will have better rear legroom, but nowhere near as economical, but still much better than an ICE.  If you need the 300 mile range, there are only options at present are the Kona or the Soul.  Kona has the big benefit of physical buttons for most things though and has everything as standard.
