The main advantage to the Nextbase cameras is the magnetic mount, makes it so easy to just unclip and hide in car or take with you.
I had one in my previous car and never bothered removing it, after 4 months whilst at a restaurant one evening some pleb smashed my passenger window and ripped it out, took 2 days to get the window replaced at a cost of £50 (insurance) plus another £125 for new camera & memory card (we are not insured for anything we have inside the car), I remove it every time I leave the car now.
