No disrespect to mr Carey’s engineering prowess, but this smacks of a future reliability nightmare. My sister in laws Evoque had 3 major breakdowns and numerous others component failures and that was a relatively simple diesel. He has had to move the exhaust to one side of the car and hopefully the fuel line on the other. The battery and fuel tank are under the rear seat. The battery charger and power management under the front seats. Good luck in an accident or fire. The 787 Dreamliner was grounded following fires caused by the APU battery charger.
