My current Toyota Corolla TS is rather low to the ground making it ‘not so easy’ to get in and out of. I really like the petrol hybrid engine so I’m looking for recommendations for a petrol hybrid if anyone can help please.

I’ve read a bit about the Kia Sportage and the Nissan Qashqai but passed on the Ford Kuga as a 2.5 litre engine seemed to defeat the point of economy. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

          Hi there

Just so you know with the Kia shortage they’ve removed a lot of the spec you used to get last year eg rear heated seats, sunroof etc

the new qashqai is pretty cool

we ordered the Ariya today which we found amazing

the Tucson is a well spec’d suv too

My best recommendation is make sure you test drive them and check the actual website for the specs as they’re always changing them

Thanks everyone for all the help. As Mitch mentioned it’s the economy on short runs that makes me want to stay with a petrol hybrid.
