Just at my local Tesco and watched a lady reverse into a parking space with no cars either side. The car park was pretty empty and she could have driven straight into the bay with no problem but she lined herself up, reversed in then out a wee but then back in again.

I always just drive into a space, but maybe that’s just me 🤔

The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.

You should always reverse in, when driving out you will get better visibility  and reduce chances of accidents when people are walking around. Same for your home driveway. I trained as a driving instructor but changed my mind before I completed 3rd stage teaching part of the exam.

That said, I always drive in a supermarket space, but reverse onto my drive as I have high hedges and it gives better visibility.

I alway drive in at supermaket, as its easier to put shopping in boot. My drive is wide enough to go in  forward and come back out again forward but, I normally reverse in.

I drive in and can still cock it up! My wife thinks I part on a jaunty angle just to wind her up. But it is just incompetence!!

A problem with reversing in is the bollards end up stopping easy access to the boot and stowed wheelchair.

I always drive in but go 6.30am to Tesco all disabled spaces empty but back in at home always use large rear view camera
