Nissan order error

      Nissan Ariya arrived today without the Sky Pack (basically a sunroof).

      Dealers made an error and ordered the wrong car!!

      I’ve taken the car away as didn’t want to wait another 12 months for another car (the Sky Pack isn’t actually available on new orders on the MB scheme anyway)

       

      The retail cost of the Sky Pack is approx £1200. Dealer have refunded me £250.

       

      Has anyone experienced this before/ what do I need to do?

        So was the Sky Pack included when you ordered or did you pay extra for it?

          It was an option on the MB car search at the time. Paid extra for it. Looks like the dealer selected the wrong model on a dropdown list.

            From your reply to Retro89’s question it sounds like it was listed twice on MBs car search, either without or with the sky pack. If so then if the difference between the two APs was £250 then yes, the refund would be correct. If the difference was greater though (and the sunroof was the only difference) I’d be wanting the full difference.

            If that wasn’t the case though then the amount you paid for the sky pack as an optional extra should be on your order paperwork and that’s the amount that you should expect to be refunded.

              You are correct. It was listed 4 or 5 times with different options, now only one option.

              Will I be able to find out the AP difference from July 22 when I made the order?

                Someone on here might be able to help with that, there does appear to be collectors of price lists.

                    If you didn’t purposely order the ‘sky pack’ as an additional option. Then you won’t get the value of the ‘sky pack’ as an optional extra. You will only get the difference between the two AP’s. That’s if you already paid the AP.

                    I know Nissan list their vehicles individually, like (just for example purposes);

                    1. Nissan Ariya Advance  £7500
                    2. Nissan Ariya Advance (with sky pack) £7750
                    3. Nissan Ariya Advance (with BOSE pack) £8250
                    4. Nissan Ariya Advance (with sky pack and BOSE pack) £8500

                    So it sound like you ordered vehicle #2, and the dealership ordered vehicle #1 by accident.
                    So they would give you a refund for the difference between what you paid and what you got. Based on the price list at time of order.

                    As a side note, I always check the order paperwork I get back from the dealer. It should detail what the dealer actually ordered via the system.

                    I have ASD and thus have difficulty with social and understanding information, written and verbal. I process information in logical blocks, before I reply. Sometimes I'm right and sometimes I'm wrong.
                    I also have a corneal visual condition, which makes me visually impaired without daytime, or daytime bulbs, among other disabilities/conditions.

                      Again, thanks all.

                      I ordered car #5 from the list above and got car #4.

                      The paperwork provided by the dealer didn’t have enough space for the full description of the car so I did query this with them at the time. When it hit ‘my account’ on MB it stated the Sky Pack which put my mind at rest (it also stated Sky on the paperwork received from MB).

                      This makes me now believe that i ordered the right car/ the dealer ordered the right car but the mistake was at the factory??
