Has anyone ordered a new X1 ? If so, can they report back once they have taken delivery with a review.Very interested in Diesel but only 1.8d on scheme at the moment.Does the petrol 2.0 really ave 49 mpg ?Thanks David.

I’ve got one on order but it’s not due for delivery until the end of November, not even the XC40 is changing my mind and I currently have a XC60.

David, I had the pre facelift 2.0i AWD long term average was 39mpg, that included all the local and short trip mileage. Motorway cruising was in the high 40’s.

One trip to Germany included a downhill section of autobahn where I reset the trip computer and it read 99mpg at 110mph for a very short time.

Thanks for the reply Martino, i have had a 2012 2.0 d X1, so would be interested in another one early in 2020.Hopefully someone will review on this platform very soon.

I only get 49ish in my 2.0 diesel so I doubt it davjg what do you get in yours, 50% of my mileage is motorway

my X1 is the 1.8d sdrive auto. (2.0 litre engine 148 bhp) average mileage over the last 3000 miles is a handy 55,7 mpg on the display but pretty much the same on calculating volume mileage. had a xdrive 2.od auto on loan for a couple of weeks mileage was much poorer

There is a BMW X1 PHEV due out in March 2020, which I am holding out for, fingers crossed it will be on the scheme.

I have not yet seen the facelifted X1 in the flesh, hoping to check one out this weekend. Online pictures look very nice.

I averaged about 40 from a 2.0i mainly country roads and decent length journeys. This would drop to 30 around town.
