Motability Advance payment

      Hello, I have a quick and brief question. My car should be ready within 10 days and I’ve already paid £2000 for the advance payment and there’s still around £2500 outstanding, what will happen if I’m not able to pay the advance payment on the date the car is meant to be picked up, can they extend the date for me or will they cancel and refund me the payments I already paid (I don’t want them to do that)

        It appears this thread got lost.

        I imagine it would be the latter; refunding yourself the £2,000 forcing you to go through the whole process again.

          I would think it would depend on how long you wanted them to hold the car.  I had a 3 week delay in collecting a car as I was going to be on holiday, wasn’t a problem

          Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
