Mazda 3 was removed awhile back and for some reason hasn’t reappeared.

MX-5? Do you mean CX-5? The MX-5 is the sports car which isn’t on the scheme.

MX-30 current version doesn’t have great range, it’s fine if you only ever do short journeys. The new version with the rotary engine that charges the battery isn’t on the scheme at the moment.

        Car History:
        Ford Fiesta
        Vauxhall Astra Mk6
        Mazda 3
        BMW 2 Series Coupe
        Mercedes A Class
Vauxhall Astra Mk8 (Lease ended early)
        Renault Austral

I looked at a CX5 a few times before ruling it out.

For me the Exclusive line trim with the added Drivers Assistance Pack was the best choice.  I was hoping the real world MPG would improve with the new MHEV engine but sadly it’s not much better than the previous engine.  It works out the most expensive option for me.

I drive 5-6,000 miles a year so with the the AP and the petrol costs it comes out around £5,800 over the 3 years, a full Hybrid with the increased MPG makes a lot more sense.  If I can get some way of being able to charge at home then a full BEV would be the way to go.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
