I’ve just changed my motability vehicle and a letter arrived from the DVLA this morning stating I am no longer the registered keeper of my previous motability vehicle. Is this right? I thought Motability owned the car and I leased it? Why do they have me down as the registered keeper?

This is the first time I’ve changed cars so I’m not sure if it’s right or not.

Yep that’s correct. They own the vehicle but you are the registered keeper so if for example you got a parking ticket for parking in a loading only area the ticket would be sent to you.
