Hi all,

Just a quick question, with what is going on with regards to waiting on new cars since the chip shortage – I am currently waiting for a car I ordered back Sept 2021 – with regards to people that have collected there new cars since the car delay problems……

my question is…….. What type of time scale did the dealers give you, like did they call you and say Hi mr or ms you car should be with us within 2 weeks or 1 week etc…..

Just wanted to get a basic general clue

All dealerships will be different.

If you ask your salesperson, they should be able to tell you if the car has been built yet, and if it’s on the boat or train etc.

If you leave it completely up to them, they may not contact you until the car is in their compound and ready to go.
