Audis Offering

I’m not due another Motability car till October next year and I’ve just been having a look at the latest offering to see what’s around.

I currently have a BMW 2 218i Coupe and have just been looking at Audis offerings. They seem to only have the A1 and Q2 on the list? Whats happened to the A3, A4 and Q3? These are the cars I’d be more interested in!

I really think Audi need to broaden their offering.

The Q3 hasn’t been on since the Q2 came out a few years ago.
The A4 was on fot a limited time but only the 1.0 engine.
The A3 was on for a while at the beginning of the year but hasn’t been seen since.

Shisha, the way vehicles seemingly come on and off the scheme with such regularity, who knows what will be available for you come next July when you can order for an October change-over.

As Phil says above, various Audi’s have appeared and disappeared over time. It all comes down to what Audi and Motability can agree, but can be affected by such as Audi’s back log in building a particular model, whether they want to actively promote one model over another, run-in/out pre-facelift models and not forgetting the overall price cap. Then for 2021 add in Brexit and all that may entail for vehicle importers!

It is perhaps far too early to second guess what vehicles may be available in the first quarter of 2021, let alone the third quarter.

Crikey Philjb, two incorrect statements out of 3!

The Audi Q3 and Q2 were both available at the same time when we chose our Q3 in 2017. It was when the new model Q3 came out and the base price went over £30k that it was dropped.

Audi have never made a 1.0 litre A4 model, the 35 TFSi was on the scheme for a short while, as was the 2.0 TDi Black Edition during a run out period.

Your statement about the A3 is correct.

I agree with Shisha, that the Audi offering from Motability at the moment is woeful, I can’t see why the new A3 shouldn’t make an appearance next year. I’d like to see the A3 saloon make a comeback.

I realise the cars are constantly coming on and off the scheme but it seems the consistency with Audi is not great at all and at the moment to have just 2 small cars on the scheme is not good at all given BMW and Mercedes both have a fairly broad range of vehicles on.

tbh audi doesnt impress me nor mercedes i need a higher driving position and auto of those 2 only the b class made my long list and even bmw only got the i3 and x1 on there. all the others were “lesser marques”.

in the end the best financial deal won out and i got a mini countryman cooper s exclusive auto with the comfortnav+ pack as stratstones were doing £500 off the ap which as i am on wpms meant with gcb i paid almost zero.

next time 5 years time hopefully if i am still here i will be looking for an electric so maybe the i3s if its still in production.

I think the newly updated Audi A3 will be on the scheme some time in the new year. It won’t be the more powerful models of course because you’re all Motability peasants & not worthy of one of Germany’s finest marques!

It’s a good job Wartburg & Trabant aren’t still going.

your correct it was the 1.4 tsi A4 not the 1.0 the A3 had that engine.

when the Q2 came on the last few Q3s were stock cars only.
