Craig we will and are being slowly acclimatised to autonomous driving with the safety tech in new cars. Lane assist, self parking cars the list goes on and on. Trials are ongoing throughout the world with autonomous vehicles and with the necessary 5G introduction coming at pace it is only a matter of time before we see it on every street, ladies you will be able to legally put your make up on while driving lol.
It is of course a very Scarry prospect and there will be accidents, especially during the period when not all cars are autonomous, but it will be much safer in the long run.
