With all the tech and EV advances i really do believe it is only a matter of time before this option is available on Motability.
Autonomous vehicles are here right now and the advantages this in itself brings will be too good an opportunity to miss. Having a fleet of autonomous disability vehicles available to tens of thousands of people will be so tempting that someone will do it and no company is better placed than Motability.
I have used this scenario before but imagine you are blind and want to go for a holiday, you book your Motability TAXI for a fortnight, you live in Aberdeen and are going to Devon for a break. The taxi arrives at your door takes you to Devon and stays with you for your entire holiday and brings you back at the end.
FREEDOM must feel like this surely.
