Mitch your story sounds very similar to mine. I have chronic osteoarthritis in my knees ( coal face worker 20 years on my knees) I also have it in my left hip. I was supposed to have knee replacements but they wont found it now because I am over their BMI index policy. I have coronary heart failure following valve replacement and triple by pass. Now have Kidney failure stage 4.
I got sick of being told I am over weight and to walk more and exercise more. One day I just broke down in the Dr’s and told them enough. Look at my medical records I said and walked out in tears.
Since then their attitude has changed. It is so frustrating having to live with Morphine patches and very powerful opiates,
Fix my knees would be a great help.
