Another Stupid Idea from people trying to justify their jobs.
You can’t trust the speed limits shown on SatNav – for example the road between Christchurch to Ringwood (B3347) is 60mph according to my up-to-date SatNav, but only 50mph according to road signs; Bordon bypass is 40mph according to SatNav but northern stretch is actually 30mph.
Imagine this scaled up to cover an entire country – especially with different SatNav systems will giving different speed limits.
Imagine different SatNav systems giving different results at Give Way junctions or on who has priority on One Way sections . . .
Imagine the Legal ramifications when people start dying.
