Hi, I have a Mini Clubman but I am swapping to an X1 later this month (I’m a bit worried now though!).
I just wanted to add that when I picked up my Clubman the seats were just awful. The seats were very hard and uncomfortable and it took about a month before I got used to them – I actually dreaded driving the car as it was causing me so much pain. You might just find that hopefully once they’re worn in they become more comfortable. It’s such a shame that these cars come with leather seats as standard. Like you I drove VWs for nine years and the velour seats are just so much more forgiving.
