I told him i had read some stuff on here about problems with the seats , i also said iv watched reviews on youtube , he said you really shouldn’t read or watch other peoples reviews.
That is probably the worst advice I have ever heard… like ever! That dealer is talking utter b*llocks.
Whenever I am considering buying a new washing machine, TV, etc – let alone a major purchase like a new car – I spend hours & hours – days even – watching Youtube review videos & reading all I can on the internet in order to answer every question I might have. Thankfully, Youtube is a godsend when it comes to new car reviews. Many private, independent owners will give an honest, unbiased review of a particular make & model I’m thinking of leasing on Motability.
It sounds to me as if the BMW dealer you spoke to martino was probably selling sofas in DFS a few weeks back & probably flipping burgers in McDonalds just a few months before that. One thing’s for sure ; the incompetent sod is talking out of his arse when saying that you “shouldn’t watch reviews on Youtube”
