I had the same issues at the start of the year with the same Dealers, Mini advertised a 48 hr test drive , always throught a mini would be too low down for me but I figured 48 hours would give me a good idea
booked online , and they were to call back to arrange a date
they emailed back saying they had trouble with their insurance and couldn’t offer this but could offer me 30 min test drives in both models I was interested in
needless to say there isn’t a parked outside my house this evening
had more or less the same story with Mercedes
